eg is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development and Marketing graduate who is looking to gain experience and insight into an engineering consultancy, who specialise in delivering product engineering design and development. The role will include carrying out desk research on prospects in order to support the business development team in reaching out to targeted prospects, preparing for online webinars, networking events, exhibitions, workshops as well as supporting marketing activities. Marketing activities include the design of digital marketing collateral and support with campaigns.  



To help assist, delivering on the out-bound strategy that communicates the egt brand to a wide outreach and drive in-bound opportunities.

To support the sales and business development activities with prospecting, event preparation and communication.

To assist the marketing activities in creating website content, including blogs, case studies, events and publicity and news.



  1. On track to achieve or have a relevant honours degree or equivalent, with a minimum of a 2:1.

  2. An interest in carrying out desk-based research to help identify business development opportunities.

  3. Self-driven and proactive with a can-do attitude. Able with little guidance to deliver value insight to the business development team. For example, carrying out competitor analysis or research trends in medtech specific areas. 

  4. A flair for creating and developing innovative communications to support business development, particularly within a technical sales environment. i.e case studies and articles, collateral for exhibitions, content for website, social media and industry-specific presentations.

  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to clients and internal staff.

  6. Attention to detail - a must have - with a coherent writing style without spelling/grammar mistakes.

  7. An interest in designing digital marketing collateral and willingness to learn to use graphics editing software like Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent.

  8. Skills in graphic design, print, layout, typeface and photography will be an advantage. 

  9. An interest in medical sector and consultancy business model an advantage. 

  10. Experience with Google Analytics is desirable but not essential.
