The programme has been established in order to source and accelerate European start-ups by delivering high-quality, bespoke training in business modelling and planning, investment deal negotiation and specialised pitch preparation while giving access to Europe’s top healthcare experts and investors. Each year the programme recognises and awards the 42 start-ups with the best business concepts, fast-tracking them to become part of the EIT Health Community of world-leading companies.
As a sponsor of the EIT Health Catapult, eg technology will be offering an award for the most innovative product within the MedTech category. We have offered a total of 10 days’ worth of engineering expertise that can be used towards the realisation of their innovation. This will be split between the top three chosen applicants, with the winner receiving five days, the runner up receiving three days and third place receiving two days of development time. The competition is currently at the semi-final stage and the finalists will be announced on the MedTech semi-final day on the 2nd of December.
