Over the past year, I feel I have been able to put the theory learned throughout my degree into practice. From day one I have been working on real medical devices giving my input and developing my skills. Being surrounded by smart experienced engineers can be very daunting in the beginning however nothing but that could have given me the knowledge that I have today. I chose to work at eg technology over a larger company or graduate scheme due to the close family-like team which it offers, there are no boundaries between roles and everyone is approachable and this was clear from the first meeting.
