Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and product development, and well-versed in managing clients and an engineering team?

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with extensive experience to join our team.

Job Overview

The successful applicant will work within the Project Management team to oversee multi-disciplinary product development programmes, with a focus on managing the technical interfaces between disciplines. They will lead the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, whilst ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are kept up to date.

Ideal candidate requirements:
We are looking for someone who:

A confident and excellent communicator who strives to deliver projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and aptitudes:

  • Has professional expertise including mechatronics or electronic and/or embedded software development.
  • Has extensive experience in planning and managing projects and people.
  • Has experience of managing multi-disciplinary product development and managing the technical interfaces between disciplines.
  • Has a track record in the planning, management, and delivery of product development projects with in-depth experience of phases of the product development process from concept to manufacture.
  • Should ideally have experience of project management in a regulated environment in which design lifecycles are in accordance with current applicable regulations, industry and/or harmonised standards.
  • Has extensive experience to track project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Shows excellent communication and people skills to co-ordinate project teams, including clients and suppliers, throughout the life of a project.
  • Has a 2:1 or above honours degree in an appropriate scientific or engineering discipline.
